Question on SQL Cluster Resource Groups18 Oct 2005 14:02 GMT2
I have a sql cluster with my virtual server name, IP address, etc. in one
group.  In the other group I have my sql instance, san attached disk
resources, sql agent etc.  In this second group I also have a ftp server that
utilizes the vbscript for fail over and uses a san disk ...

Is active/active clustering is also have load balancing  . In Active/ Active
clustering  both the node acces the same database or differnt database , In
active/active clustering does the cpu and memory are share by both nodes ?

I inadvertantly mis-edited the SQL startup parameters on a clustered
instance and now the instance won't start. I'm wondering if there's a quick
fix to correct the problem.  (short of uninstall/reinstall <g>)

I have 3 databases on 3 seperate SQL 2000 servers, all are used heavily.
There is no high availablity solution.
I was thinking of placing the databases in Windows 2003 Cluster. If I do

What technically is a sql farm? Do people mean a "clustered farm".
