When I try to connect to (local) server (in Query Analyzer for example) on an virtual sql server, the application tries to connect to the active node instead, resulting in an error message (SQL Server does not exist or access denied).

I have a difficult situation with a clustered server. It consists of two parts - Cluster_1 and Cluster_2 computers with WINDOWS Server2003. Cluster_1 and Cluster_2 are with 6 GB RAM. The whole clustered server is named Cluster.
