Hi, Geoff Hiten I have been having issues with SQL not starting due to the
following error message:
[sqsrvres] checkODBCConnectError: sqlstate = 28000; native error = 4818;
message = [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed

I know that SQL 2005 standard has clustering incorporated in it now, so you
don't need to have Enterprise version, in order to have a failover cluster.
My question is, do I still need Windows 2003 Server Enterprise, to support a
failover cluster, or can I get by with Windows 2003 ...

Has anyone set up a 4 node cluster i.e. 3 active and 1 passive ? I only want
to consider this as it may reduce cost. We have a lot of servers and the
least i want to do is have an active passive 2 node cluster for every server
thus doubling the server costs

I'm having problems installing 2005 Ent on my Win 2003 SP1 2 node cluster.
Please note this cluster has a SQL 2000 (SP4) virtual server/instance already
installed. I would like to run them side by side.

The master log file has been moved from its installed disk to a new disk.
This disk is part of the SQL server dependancies and the changes have been
made through Enterprise manager.
SQL fails to restart through the Cluster manager claiming that the log file
