My application record the SQL Timeout in the log file. The application server calls SQL on cluster via ADO. The error is always when the batch processing is running. Can anyone here advise me on how do I expand the time-out on SQL cluster? I am using SQL 2000 SP3

Hello All. I need to set up quite a large SQL System 2005 system that needs to deal with 40,000 concurrent users, and one of the tables will contain blob data. 40,000 users throwing around Mb's of data at the same time worries me a little bit!

Books online says clearly that on the SQLServer agent properties (Connection tab) you should select Windows authentication if you are running on NT or Windows 2000. It doesnt't say why. My version of Books doesn't give a recommendation for Windows 2003.

When I finish to create one non clustering index on of of my table , I found out that the size of the hard disk increase amazingly. I decide to drop the this index but the hard disk size did not back to original size before that. What should I do next ? Please help

I am just trying to valid that our process is correct for moving all clustered groups off of a node for maintenance (e.g. rebooting a node). We have three different clustered configurations in our environment. Here is each move process for each configuration.
