I'm trying to install SQL 2000 (with SP3A) on a Windows 2003 Clustered
environment (AMD64).  This is a two node cluster, and SQL is being
installed as a named instance.  I've checked the following:
* Using a domain account that is part of the Local Administrators group

I tried to install MS SQL Server 2000 Virtual Server on a Cluster WIN2003
sp1 EE.
I start the installation and I insert the next information:
1) Virtual Server Name

   We have a 2 node cluster (active/passive) Windows 2003 EE, SQL Server
2000 (latest service pack), there are 3 disks (and the C:\ drive), one for
data, one for logs and the quorum disks.  The SQLServr.exe is located at
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$DATACLST\Binn

I have been building active/passive for many years.
I was thinking of doing an active/active, I've seen a lot of problems with
active/active.
Many people don't recommended.

I need to install the full-text engine on an existing SQL Server 2005

I am looking to decomission an old AD forest and move all it's resources to a
new AD forest.  Both forests exist today.  I have a 2 node Windows 2003
cluster with 3 resource groups -- the cluster resource group and two (2) SQL
2000 server resource groups.

I have to setup a Active/Active cluster and I need to know if there has to
be made any change in the applications that the user has? For example, direct

I created 2 nodes active/passive and tested the failover.
It worked.
I added a 3rd nodes as active.
Now nothing can failover to the passive.

We have recently installed a new cluster using 4 ways Opteron Processors
boxes, we had no problems during installation! We are running an
active/active configuration.
Now running on production enviroment (medium load), we are experiencing some
