How many nodes can you have in a cluster? We currently have 2 nodes one active one passive, running windows 2000 SP4 with SQL 2000 ENTERPRISE EDITION. I ask because I want to make our setup more tolerant, so any advice is great.

I am currently running a 2-node (Active/Passive) SQL 2000 cluster on 2 Windows 2003 machines. Both machines are Dell PE4400 with a PERC3/DC card in each one that attaches to a Dell PowerVault 221 (this is where all databases/logs are kept).

Normally when I install SQL in a stand alone situation, the TCP/IP Socket defaults to 1433. However when I'm installing (this is just testing for now) the default port gets set to "0". Do I need to manually change it back to 1433?
