     We have 2 servers running SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition SP3 in
Active/Passive configuration with 12GB of memory. We have allocated 7GB using
AWE enabled for sql with 5GB remaining for the OS and future instance. My
question is, we are trying to move to an Active/Active ...

We have an Active/Passive SQL 2005 Cluster running on Windows 2003 Server
We have a website using a SQL database backend and have just started to
receive the following error
All schedulers on Node 0 appear deadlocked due to a large number of worker

I had an Access Database that I "upsized" to SQL Sever 2000 running on
Windows 2000 Advanced Server. The Access database tables are now inked
tables to the Sql server and all is fine. Users are able to update
data.

When I try to start my mirror,
I get the following error:  My mirror server db changes from "restoring.."
to "in recovery"...

Can the mirror server also host principal databases?   So, two servers,
mirroring to each other, but then if one fails, the other takes the full
load and becomes the principal for all databases?

We are interested in a clustered/high-availability SQL 2005 system.
Basically, we have two physical servers we wish to dedicate to this.  Each
has their own drives, neither are fancy, (P4 3.0 gig with 2 gig RAM and SATA
HDs), but we would like to prevent as much down time.

processors, memory,... do I need? My preference is to go for HP servers
