I just noticed that the SQL Browser Service is set to run automatically in a
default-instance clustered install, whereas it is disabled in a
default-instance single server install.
Is there a reason to run the SQL Browser Service in a cluster if you are not

We have a EMC clarion SAN with fiber connection between 2 node cluster.
Does anyone know how to rebuild/upgrade sql 2000 active/passive cluster to

We currently have a 2 node active/passive cluster (Win2000sp4SQL2000sp3).
We have several drives configured with multiple databases on the different
drives.  The SQL drives are on a SAN.
We want to move the SQL virtual instance to new 2 node hardware with

I can't get a pair of Dell power edge 2400's to work with the same
powervault 210s.
I can get the first machine loaded with Win2002 Enterprise, and it sees 80%
of the powervault that we have configured as the only drive on the array.
