Does SQL Server require the /3GB boot.ini switch on a /PAE on a 16gb Win 2003
Server?  What will happen if you don't?
I know you do not use the /3GB when memory is over 16gb (With PAE...).

we have installed SQL 2005 on a two node Windows Server 2003 cluster. the
cluster is configured with two instances, each using it's own resource group
(virtual name , IP address, physical disk).

I have a question about what happens in the event that the cluster

We have an Active/Passive cluster running W2K3 Enterprise X64 Sp1, 32GB RAM
and SQL Server 2005. We're moving to a N+1 configuration (and then maybe N+M
later), but I'm running into an error.

server.  I have put on the same cluster my testing of 2005 and will switch
over soon.
How does SQL Server deal with RAM between the 2 instances?
