Is it a good ideas for sql server 2k to put 15-20 databases in one cluster box. Create like 10 instances. If something wrong we could just restrat the service for that instance..... othewr dbs won't be affected.

I just setup my first 2 node Active/Active SQL Cluster and from what I can tell you can have only one (1) default instance in an Active/Active cluster. The other instance has to be a named instance. Is this correct, or am I crazy? If so, I don't undertand why this limitation. ...

Customer is running a SQL 2000 system single instance, this SQL 2000 is installed on a cluster of 2 nodes but they are not clustering the SQL instance, easier even they are running SQL 2000 on a cluster, SQL is not clustered.
