From some offical documentation about sql server failover clustering i've
understand that sql service manager do checkes of IsAlive on each node.
On which mechine it exist on.
And do i install virtual server on the nodes and not sql server?

We would like to upgrade our SQL 2000 clusters to multi-node using Windows

We have a 2 node, active-active, 2 instance, 64 bit SQL 2005 Enterprise
Cluster.  When you open the SQL Configuration Manager on either server, you
will find entries for both the 32 bit SQL Native Client, as well as the
standard one (64 bit)
