As an SQL DB Administrator, do you have any checklist which can be done in daily/weekly/monthly basis for operational continuity. Such as, verifying backups, shrinking transaction logs, re-indexing with DBCC commands.

I have a big client that made the following big mistake: They had a two node Active/Active cluster. They evicted node B. A little later, since they have several similar clusters setup, they also evicted node A from the same cluster and now the whole environment is down.
