As an SQL DB Administrator, do you have any checklist which can be done in
daily/weekly/monthly basis for operational continuity.
Such as, verifying backups, shrinking transaction logs, re-indexing with
DBCC commands.

They had a two node Active/Active cluster. They evicted node B. A little

If we have our databases tied to a SAN, why would I consider SAN based
replication vs database mirrroring as a Disaster Recovery solution?
Database Mirroring is free and could accomplish protecting our data and want
to know why would i even think of SAN based replication from EMC ...
