Can someone tell me if clustered SQL servers (2005) have to be part of the
same domain? I can't find any docs on this.

Can multiple IP addresses be assigned to a cluster and/or virtual name?
I have a 2-node Active/Passive cluster on a switched (not routed) network.
Each node has 3 NICs, each on its own subnet;
   a) public/client access - 192.168.10.0

I have recently installed and configured SQL 2005 SE with database mirroring
configured with high safety with automatic failover synchronous mode.
My question is (I probably missed the principle idea) in case of failover
occurred how do the clients redirect to the second node ...

Is the "Cumulative update package2 for SQL2005 SP2"
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936305) cluster aware? Or do it need to be
installed on each cluster node?

Doesn't appear to be a site for backups so I'll post here:
We're using EMC Timefinder SIM backups with SQL 2000.  
Anyone out there have experience with these?  We're having an issue and EMC'
hasn't been able to help.

for some reason the SQL Reporting service didnt get installed on one of my
nodes... so i was simply just going to install it... apparently it isnt so
