I know there is the heartbeat that checks for ping... But i also believe there is a sql related check too ..right ? I guess what im getting at is ..if the server is super busy that this sql related check cannot even get a thread to connect, will the cluster fail ?

Our organization has a medical application that is dependent on 6 independent SQL databases that are loaded on 1 SQL 2005 server/instance. Can a "SQL 2005 High Availability Database Mirror" be used to mirror all six databases and automatically failover.

For some reason when i try to install a failover cluster SQL2005 Std. on WIN 2003 ENT I am getting the error "The Virtual Server name you provided is not valid. To proceed, provide a virtual server name. For more information, see Instance Name, in SQL Server Books Online."
