I'm trying to configure mirroring among 3 servers, principal,mirror,witness,
i was able to configure it successfully but when i start mirroring it gives
this error the server network address "TCP://xx.yy.zz.com:5022" can not be
reached or doesn't exist. check the network address ...

One of our customers have what looks like a MS DTC related problem on a SQL
2005 cluster.
Setup:
Web server in DMZ running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 SP2
Best Practices: 2nd instance SQL 2K5 on Active/Passive cluster11 Sep 2007 02:53 GMT1

All,
  Could you guys please recommend some good IBM machines as i dont have a
choice (No HP's or Dell's) for running SQL Server as a cluster

I currently have a 2 Node Failover SQL 2000 cluster running on 2 Windows 2003
servers.  I need to upgrade this to a SQL 2005 cluster.  I will be keeping
the same hardware, same IP addresses, same cluster name etc.
Is this a fairly simple process?  Do I just put the SQL 2005 ...

If i have the name of a node, how can i find out what Cluster is active on
it or if I have a SQL CLusterName, how can i find the underlying node names
?
Is there a SQL that can find this ?

When I open CLuster Administrator and type in the name of my SQL CLuster say
"Cluster1", and right at the top when it opens in the title it says
FGS(Cluster1)
and then the tree drops down with FGS as the root.

cluster names look like ?
Would they be in the form of Inst1 and Inst2
or Cluster/Inst1 and Cluster/Inst2 ?

I'm not too familiar with clustering SQL, but I was wondering if the
following would be possible.
If we have an A/A/P cluster, if it's possible to have one virtual server run
SQL Server 2005 and the other run SQL Server 2000.  We have an application
