SQL 2005 Cluster Maintenance09 Oct 2007 23:56 GMT6
We are currently planning for two-node SQL 2005 cluster for some of our

being applied but does anybody know what is the best ...
Error installing either SP1 or SP2. Error number 28017.08 Oct 2007 20:53 GMT1
The MS Cluster install went well, the SQL 2005 went great as well. No errors
at all...that was until I tried to install SP1 then tried installing SP2. I
get the same error every time. It has to do with a recent install of KB
921896. The error  on the summary.txt file is 28017.

I need help clarifying something -- although the files can be moved by

getting a clustered instance to recognize a new drive04 Oct 2007 02:32 GMT1
I've added another cluster resource drive to the group and sql 2000
instance is in. Sadly, the instance is not recognizing the drive,
which is making it pretty hard to create backup devices on the new
drive. which is why i added the new drive. Is there some trick to this
Add more nodes to the cluster01 Oct 2007 23:29 GMT1
Can additional nodes be safely added to the cluster without taking the
entire cluster offline ?
So for instance, if we have a 2 node single cluster today, can i add 2 more
nodes to make it a 4 node 3 instance cluster without taking the current 2

Disaster Recovery Tests01 Oct 2007 07:25 GMT3
Currently we use Log shipping between our active site and our DR site. The
question I have is when we do DR testing at the DR site to test
recoverability, we have to recover all those Log shipped databases which
means we are exposed until our DR tests are completed.
