I have built a 2005 two node sql cluster and we are seeing very poor client access speeds. Clearly there could be a zillion reasons for this and I am trying to narrow them down. My question is about location of the MSDTC. I currently have the MSDTC

I had a cluster named oldcluster. I created a new cluster called newcluster. I evicted node1 from oldcluster, ran "cluster node node1 /forcecleanup. I changed the dns entry for oldcluster to point to the newcluster ip. Then added node1 to newcluster.

I need a simple procedure to upgrade our SQL2005 active/active cluster. It's presently unpatched. From what I understand I need to do the following : 1- Failover node 2 ressources to node 1 2- Log on node 1 and install the SP2 on the two instances

I have a cluster with 3 nodes, under SYSTEM in the event viewer I receive those Warning message every 3 secondes. ID 1123:The node lost communication with cluster node 'NODE1' on network 'PublicA'.
