How to Backup SQL 2005 Cluster25 Jun 2008 19:27 GMT3
I have recently configured two node SQL 2005 failover cluster. I'm wondering
if anybody has some king of document/article on how to backup the cluster
(both servers and databases). I'm planing to use NetBackup 6.5 for this

SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 222 Jun 2008 15:41 GMT6

Active/Passive Cluster - Can the passive node be safely ustilised?19 Jun 2008 20:44 GMT3
I am currently involved with a production environment that is made up of a
two node Acitive/Passive cluster.
I am conscious (and so too of course is the business) that the Passive node
is doing absolutely nothing, all of the time other than of course waiting to
active active: can somebody help with design?19 Jun 2008 10:53 GMT8

Active/Active 2005 Slowness17 Jun 2008 18:57 GMT6
Anyone have any ideas why a SQL 2005 active/active configuration, would be
noticibly slower than if I move one of the active nodes to the other and run
on the same node?
It doesn't matter which node I put them on, when I run them on 2 different

proxy account in SQL 2000 cluster environment16 Jun 2008 15:31 GMT2
I have run into issue with proxy account in cluster - after failover from 1
node to 2nd it stops working. Also resetting the password doesn't help -
still jobs fail with an error: a required privilage is not held by the client.
Permissions on server seems to be the same.

PROBLEM: I am not able to find any API which would return the IP
address of the cluster, maximum number of nodes supported by the
2+ Node Cluster13 Jun 2008 20:52 GMT2
Need a little bit of insight, we *might* be looking at implementing
8-Node cluster.  I can set up 2-node cluster without issue with
Active-Passive configuration; when setting up 2+ Node configuration I am a
bit lost.
Problems with SQL 2005 cluster on Server 200813 Jun 2008 17:00 GMT3
I'm testing the installation of SQL Server 2005 clustering on a
Windows Server 2008 Failover Cluster. The Server 2008 cluster setup
went smoothly and I set up a cluster service for the SQL disks. The
installation options for a SQL cluster are all accepted and everything
