For a 2 node cluster, does the "preferred owner" have any meaning? Under what setting does the cluster automatically failback once the failed node is restored? Why are domain groups required in SQL 2005 installation rather than accounts?

Could someone point me to any articles so that I can initiate an exiction and rebuild / rejoin of one of our nodes in a 2 node w2003 cluster running 2 instances of SQL 2005. I am particulary interested how I get the clustered SQL software onto this rebuild.
