In my SQLserver  DATA datatype appear to me with hour separator "."
(12.00.00)
I want that they appear with separator ":" (12:00:00)  (for to prevent ODBC
problems)

A new instance has been setup on one of our pilot servers.  I do not have the
sa password to that instance, and it appears that the group who set up the
instance also removed the built-in/admin group.  Am I doomed to never access
this instance?

Our company uses Great Plains 6.0 for accounting purposes.  The application
uses SQL 2000 as its back-end database.  I would like to know if there is
any way to prevent odbc connections directly to the tables in.  I think the
application may be using an odbc connection as well too.  ...

First is can I use Windows XP with the client tools (Enterprise Manager) to
connect to MS SQL Server 2000?  If so, can someone explaine?  I have tried
using SQL Server Authentication but I get an error saying server does not

We have a few servers with named instances, 2003 Server w/ SQL 2000 SP3a
running Named Pipes only.
Our users primarily use IIS 5, 5.1, and 6 to connect to these servers with
ColdFusion and ASP .NET applications.  Right now the ASP .NET applications

I'm getting the following error on my XP machine:
The ODBC resource DLL c:\windows\system32\odbcint.dll is a different version
than the ODBC setup dll c:\windows\system32\odbccp32.dll reinstall the ODBC
components to ensure proper operation.

I am using the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC, Service Pack 2,
Version 2.2.0037 with windows XP and j2sdk1.4.2_03.
I am having trouble with the driver creating huge numbers of temporary files
and never deleting them.

I'm troubleshooting a connection to an MSDE install.  I tried to register
the MSDE install on the server's EM.  The register server wizard shows the

I have a problem with a few clients who try to launch an internal application.

It appears that any machine I have using SQL server 2000
SP3a cannot properly connect to an Oracle Linked server.
Machines that fail to connect are SQL version 8.00.760
(SP3) running Win 2003 and win 2000 they are Dell Severs.
