I have a table in SQL Server 2000 with 3.5 million rows in it, approximately
20 columns. I am querying this table via ODBC using the microsoft driver.

It probably depends on the data transfer but is there a rule of thumb to
determine the upload bandwidth required to query a remote sql server ?

I have a web based application where my reports are run from an access front
