I'm moving some data from AS400 DB2 to SQL Server and run
into date conversion problems.
My date from DB2 is numeric 8 characters eg "20031231".
How can I convert it to either datetime or smalldatetime

I recently heard a rumour that MS is going to focus less on MOLAP functionality in Yukon (or post Yukon releases) and focus more on supporting traditional ROLAP star-schemas in the RDBMS (<> MDDBMS)
Is this just hearsay or are there any facts availiable to shed some light on this ...

I m trying to use BCP utility to upload a huge text file.
As per microsoft documentation, -R is used to specify the
