Maybe a silly question since I am new to SW/OLAP/etc. etc. I was wondering that if I have a single table having all the things that can be used as 'measures' PLUS all the possible information about dimensions in the same table.

Definitely a silly question for the experts here :) What exactly is a Data Mart? Is it more like a fact table and the associated dimension tables or is it the same thing as a cube or??? I'll appreciate your guidance and if you can also recommend a couple of URLs

I've a strange behavior on my server. The response time is good after a reboot of the computer, but, after a long work on it (half day or a day) The performance slow down, so I reboot the server to recover my performance.
