Are there any compatibility issues between Microsoft SQL Desktop Edition and SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition Compatibility. I would like to install one packaged application that uses MSDE 2000 and a second packaged application that uses SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition.

I have/had been using MSDE in Visual Basic.NET This was installed from an OFFICE PROFESSIONAL Disk I have I believe. My computer lost the BOOT SECTOR of my Windows XP Hard Disk and I have since reinstalled WINDOWS on that same disk and am in the process of reinstalling
