In my daily Server Performance Report, I received two Critical Errors in Application Log at 3:30 AM every day for about a week. The firsts Source is MsiInstaller. The Event ID is 100005. The message is: Product: Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine -- Internal Error 2727.

I have always been told never install antivirus with a sql server. I believe this is because antivirus software might interfere or slow down a sql server. IS the same true for MSDE? Can someone explian to me why antivirus software on a sql or msde server is a bad idea.
