I'm using the bcp utility to create a text file from a view. The text file
is used by a 3rd party program for other processing.

When I install my instance of NETSDK MSDE I am trying to get it to appear as
the instance shown in the MSDE Explorer in the task bar. No other instance
is installed. How can I do this?
All I get right now is it saying it "not connected". It needs to show this

First, does this newsgroup cover SQL Server Express?  Couldn't find any

I installed a Server on my Server PC (Windows XP Professional)

We wrote our .Net 2.0 application using MSDE.
However, the demo programs we have sent out
many times have  trouble installing MSDE on the
customer's computer.

Trying to install SQLExpress but would like to leave my MSDE installation
intact... is this possible. If, yes can you provide instructions, since I
always get that you have to upgrade...
