I am using SQL Server 2000 Notification Services. The notification instance that I created does not startup automatically when my machine restarts. I read in some previous posts that due to dependencies on the SQL Server, the instance might not start before SQL Server is running.

I'm a little confused as to where SSNS gets its date information. If I connect to my SSNS database on my database server (local), and type "Select GETDATE()", I get the correct current date. But, the date information entered in SSNS tables is always offset by an hour.
