I am designing a report which need to take parameter input by user when the
report is open. Can anyone please tell me how to do this? Using MS SQL 2005

I'm using the control on an asp.net page. The first parameter is a multi
value field which is populated by a query. How can I programaicattly select
the first value as a default? I don't see anything in ReportParameter class
that can do that.

I am experiencening the folowing problem with RS SP2.  My reports do not
render all of the time, sometimes they run fine in a few seconds other times
they simply do not run.  These are small reports with only a few hundred
records in the dataset.

We are running SQL 2000 still and I would like to implement reporting
services.  When I install reporting services on the server will it require a
reboot to complete the installation?  This is a production machine and I'd
like to install it during normal working hours but ...

I noticed that Reporting Services is running every 20 sec a stored proc
GetMyRunningJobs, and every 10 sec queries and updates in the Event and
Notification tables in the ReportServer database. I suppose for subscriptions.
Is there any way to desactivate this if no subscriptions ...
