I have two servers: srv1, srv2. I created a linked server between of them from srv1 to srv2. i create user1 on srv1 and srv2 which is not dbo. I create proc2 on srv2 and gave it execute permissions for user1.

I'm using IE7 and have XP Media. My Internet security will alert me that SQL Browser Service EXE wants in. The path is C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftSQL. The IP is 60.190.107.29:3111. The connection is UDP. The PID is 2288. Is this from Microsoft?

I have a database on SQL Server 2008 Express which I connect to over a vpn via MS Access. The connection uses a login and password set in SQL Server. When I or one of the other guys connect, then there is no problem. However, when a new user connects, they are rejected.
