Cannot Install SQLServer 2000 Developer on my XP Machine31 Dec 2005 18:42 GMT2
I've run into this issue before on my oher machine and all I had to do
was remove the SQL Server 2005 to get it to run, but on thi machine, no
matter what I do, I keep getting an error when trying to install a
local server. The error is : A previous program installation created

I'm migrating a MySQL db to a MS SQL 2005 db.  I'm using visual studio
2005 for development and remote db admin.  Is there any way short of
developing code to import a table which includes all the data.

I am attempting to create a 10GB database with a 5GB log file using MSSQL
Server 2000 (Standard), with Windows 2000 Server as the operating system.
The d: in question has 66GB of file space, and yet I am getting this error :
