We have a SQL Server 2000 Cluster (Active-Passive). We are planning to add a processor to each node in the cluster. We are using the Processor Licensing model. Is there anything that needs to be done to apply the extra license on each node, or do we just add the processor?

Getting a new SQL server (SQL 2000 or 2005 Enterprise on Windows 2003), and for CPU wondering which is better for the server: 1 - Dual Core Xeon 2.8Ghz /2mb cache each core (1 physical cpu) 1 - Dual Processor - Xeon 3.8Ghz /2mb cache each (2 physical cpu's).

Can SQL server 2005 standard be installed on XP media center edition? System requirement in the link http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/standard/sysreqs.mspx says "Windows XP with SP 2 or later"

Sorry in advance if this seems like a stupid question I was recently tasked with setting up Porject Server for my work. By the time the order went through I was presented with SQL server 2005 EE rather than 2000 EE which I had requested.
