One of our IT staff is setup in the securityadmin role to be able to change
users passwords.  When she attempts to change the user's password, it asks
her for the old password before allowing her to change.  A system
administrator doesn't get this prompt for the old password.

I want to move my databases from an old server to a new one.
We have bought new hardware and installed sqlserver.
New Version is sqlserver 2000 with sp4.
Old version was sqlserver 2000 with sp3.

Just curious, when you open the stored procedure in EM, can you make the
font a little bigger?  I don't think you can but I just want to make sure.

I have SQL Express SP1 on my workstation, and also the sql 2005 developer
edition tools.  When I try to run the full SP1 upgrade to update my Dev
edition components to SP1, I get an error that says "Unable to install
Windows Installer MSP file"

environment and have noticed a difference. In a non clustered environment
there are three User groups that were created that are not in my clustered
environment ... SQLServer2005MSFTEUser$<ServerName>$SQL2005, ...
