SQL Express SP2 CTP - requires Windows Authentication?!?10 Nov 2006 17:45 GMT1
I downloaded the new SQL Express SP2 CTP, then ran the SQLEXPR.exe.  Chose
my instance and specified "SQL Server Authentication", supplied 'sa' and my
password.  I get the messsage:
"SQL Server Setup cannot upgrade the specified instance by using SQL Server

I have sucessfully created a trusted connection between MS SQL 2000 Standard and IIS, by creating a new SQL login user called IISSERVER$ and giving access to the database.
Is there a way to create a new login in MS SQL Express 2005 ?

we distribute the backward compatibility components to our customers so they
can get the latest DMO and DTS setup.
In most cases it works just fine, but we have had several customers complain
that one workstation isn't functioning properly.
