I have an installation ov Vs2005 with MS SQL Express and SQL Developer. I installed now the MS SQL SP1. But this does not updated SQL Express. Can I install now the SQL Express sp1 ? I don't want to downgrade the developer installation.

I am trying to install 2005 developer on Vista. Every time I try I just get "Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connections to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For potential solutions to this problem, see c:\Program Files\Microsoft\OFFICE11\1033\SETUP.CHM".

I am not able to install std edition of sql 2005 on windows server 2003 machine. At setup progress, it hangs first at "Installing Local Groups" and than "Setting File security". I checked the logs but nothing useful.
