I am attempting to enable Full Text Indexing on the sample Pubs database in
SQL Server 2005 express.  I right click on the pubs database and select the

i want to upgrade sql from 2k to 2005 and hardware for faster performance
my present config is
Windows server 2000 (standard)
SQL server 2000 (Standard)

Am trying to install Sql Server 2005 but it comes with the error below even
after clearing the registry. Can anyone help?

I installed SQL2005 Standard on Windows 2003 SP2 server.  
This SQL server is the member of our domain and I used the domain

With 4 GB of Memory
When I looked the SQL Error log I see the following:

I'm upgrating SQL2000 to SQL2005 and some drives for DB2 access don´t work
any more.
The SQL2000 use Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC(MSDASQL) that  work fine
and can't disactivate it.

I've got a new install coming up and am wondering how people install SQL
with iSCSI.  Do they just put the Databases and Transaction logs on iSCSI
and then install SQL locally?

Can someone help me with something which has been bugging me for a

If i have 2 instances of SQL 2000 installed on a server, what would
the best memory configuration be.

On my developer Win 2000 Professional PC, I have no problem with the SQL
Express installation. But once I started to install the Express Advance or
any higher version,  the setup failed this check: System Configuration
Checker Fails with "Performance Monitor Counter Check Failed" ...

Does SQL Server 2005 Express function with Vista?  
The message I receive is "sqlserver.exe has stopped working".

How can I install it on D:?
