After a  long time failing to find a solution to the MSSQL Server 2005
Reporting Services not working on a Windows Server 2008/IIS 7, I was eager to
test MSSQL 2008. It worked like a charm!
Unfortunately I'm deadlocked with this message when I want to add features:

i am getting an unusual number of failed anonymous logon entries in a cloned
vmware image of a sqlserver 2005 installation on windows 2003 server.
is there anything i can do to terminate or get rid of these messages? i've
already changed machine name and all the anonymous user ...

I have recently upgraded from SQL 05 Workgroup to Standard and now want to
install the Reporting Services.
Unfortunately the installer still warns me that I am running Workgroup
despite me being able to confirm standard is installed using:

Sure this is written to some output files during the setup process, but they

I have been using SQL2005 on my local machine for some time without any
problems.  For some reason I get access denied when I go to the control panel
services, SQLServer and try to stop the service.  This may be related to my
