I had SQL Server 2005 Standard installed on an older Toshiba Centrino laptop
with Win XP Pro SP3. It gave really great performance with an OLTP VBA
application.
I installed SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Eval on my new Toshiba Centrino Duo

Standard x64 Edition and SQL Server 2000 Enterprise.
Paging file is configured in Windows to run the min of 9GB and max 19GB on a

Hi all,
After installing sql 2008 Ent. on x64 (only db server engine and management
studio) I set up a maintenance plan for backing up the db's.
Plan/Job is created but job does not execute. Gives the following error:

We successfully installed SQL server 2005 in an active/passive cluster.
During the set-up, we also have SSAS, SSRS installed.
OS: Windows Server  2003 R2 Enterprise Edition, SP2

I upgraded from SQL2000 to SQL2005.  In SQL2000 I could create a
maintenance plan that backed up databases and deleted old .bak files
that were older than a criteria I selected.  Now in SQL2005 they seem to
have moved this option.  Where did it go?

This is on my windows 2000 development machine. I recently changed my
windows password. I think that's the problem. I can't figure out where to go

I am running SQL 2k5 on a windows 2k3 server, everything is fine except that
