After installing sql 2008 Ent. on x64 (only db server engine and management
studio) I set up a maintenance plan for backing up the db's.
Plan/Job is created but job does not execute. Gives the following error:

I upgraded from SQL2000 to SQL2005.  In SQL2000 I could create a
maintenance plan that backed up databases and deleted old .bak files
that were older than a criteria I selected.  Now in SQL2005 they seem to
have moved this option.  Where did it go?

When doing a restore, does it actually upgrade the database to 2005?

This is on my windows 2000 development machine. I recently changed my
windows password. I think that's the problem. I can't figure out where to go
in my system to reset sql to accept the new windows password so that when I
boot up my system sql starts up as well.

I am running SQL 2k5 on a windows 2k3 server, everything is fine except that
my predecessor had to create a 2nd log file on the server, I belive this was
due to the drive with the exisiting log file running out of space.

How do you perform a silent install of 2008 Express while enabling TCP/IP and
setting sa password etc.?
