I note that the minimum OS for SQL Server 2008 is Windows Server 2003 SP2, I
am currently running Windows Server 2003 R2 SP1 and need to know if this
version of OS is supported

Getting the following error when attempting to use SSMS 2008 for
anything beyond writing basic queries.  I really don't want to have to

Server, we realize that it gets installed within C:\Program Files (x86). Can

This is a brand new install.
I have tried multiple times, failed each time on Database Engine Services,

I am seeing a little problem when tring to install SQL Server Express.
During the installation it fails on MSXML. Following message is being logged:
