Deleting old MSSQL backup files24 Apr 2009 21:36 GMT3
We do a daily full backup of our database.   We want to keep 4 weeks worth of
backups so we append each backup to a file called full.bak.  We are storing
our backups on a second Windows 2003 server which does not run SQL 2005
Server.  We accomplished this by creating a device with ...

I am running SQL 2000 and I just renamed one of my DB using:

SQL Server 2000 64 bit20 Apr 2009 22:26 GMT2
We have two processor licenses of SQL Server 2000 and are looking at
re-building the server.  I am unclear on the licensing, but assuming we
could run the 64 bit version the bigger problem seems to be finding the
media.  Anyone know where it is sold anymore, and perhaps more ...

Deployment advice required19 Apr 2009 19:22 GMT2

SQL DB is on our domain server and clients connect. I've since upgrade our
DB to SQL 2008 Express and all OK.
