Very new to SQL, so forgive me if this is something obvious. We have a single maintenance plan which has several sub-tasks. We are trying to set things up so we get a single email alert if any of the maintenance plan sub-tasks fail.

All my tries to get a SQL Server 2008 installed on my Windows 7 machine failed. I even tried the slipstreamed SP1 installation (event though it is very anoying that i have to create this myself and not getting a properly prepared download).
