I read that the size for each base is limited to 4 Gb with SQL 2005
Express edition.
If I use synonyms  in one base will it increase the size of this base ?
(I plan to use synonyms to access some tables in another base)

SQL mirroring white paper?28 May 2008 01:19 GMT2

Any good capacity management tools out there ?27 May 2008 21:27 GMT4
We tend to run out of disk space time and again due to some adhoc runaway
queries, poor planning,etc.. and its always reactive.
Are there some free or not so expensive tools out there to do some capacity
management where we can for starters trend growth and have a good graphical
Which operating system must I choose?27 May 2008 19:53 GMT2
I'm going to setup a SQL Server 2005 linked servers system that contains
three SQL2K5 Enterprise Edition instances.
The principle: one server will query the remaining two others on the same
objects that host complementary data, sort of partitioning view.
